Need a Professional Path?

If you are stuck, lost, uncertain, thinking about quitting, overwhelmed, or trying to decide what to do, this is your home on the interwebs. It is totally possible to feel happy, successful, relaxed, and excited about what you do professionally, and there is a way to get there.

Career Strategy Sessions

I provide 1 to 1 support that helps you figure out your career strategy and next steps, all via your device. You can wear your track pants and bunny slippers while we talk if that's what floats your boat. Questions and topics we might work through include:

  • What career path is right for you
  • How to get experience when you don't have experience and all the jobs want experience
  • How to move forward if you want to be an entrepreneur or work in a startup
  • Choosing a major, switching a major, or quitting your degree program
  • Getting an internship or job

After even one meeting you'll feel a lot more relaxed, and know exactly what you need to do to move forward. And if you're not happy with our meeting there's no risk, you can get all your dollars back with just an email.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you work with mid-career professionals?

I work with young adults, age 18 to 30. If you're in your teens or twenties, I'm the career advisor for you! If you've moved beyond your twentysomething years, I'm happy to recommend a professional who might be a better fit.

How many sessions will I need?

This varies a lot, and it depends on how much you already know about what you want to be doing and how to get there. Sometimes one session is enough and sometimes you might want to meet regularly to get strong follow up and accountability for what you want to do. You're in control, and I can let you know what I recommend based on your situation.

Will you talk to my parents?

The information we talk about in your sessions is confidential. However, if you want me to share what we talk about with your parents, then I'll ask you to write a statement giving me permission. Until then, I'll tell your parents that they can get information on your progress from you directly. Want me to get your parents off your back? We can talk in a session about how to communicate with them about your career.
